Here’s how to make some tasty glazed almonds to have as a snack, or to use on salads.
Glazed almonds recipe
1-1/2 cups almonds
1/4 cup honey
1-1/2 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Place the almonds on a cookie sheet, and bake them for 10 to 15 minutes at 350 F, being careful not to burn them.
When the almonds are nearly done, bring the honey and butter to a boil (measurements don’t have to be exact). Let that mixture simmer for 2 minutes.
Stir in almonds, simmer for another 2 minutes.
Pour nuts out on to a greased baking sheet and separate with a fork. Sprinkle with a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon, then put them under the broiler for a minute or two until the sugar crystallizes.
